We've not got a lot of money to spend this year on presents for family, so for one of my family (not really family but consider them as family) I have no idea what to get them.

The 2 parents and 3 girls (aged 11(will be 12 when Christmas rolls around) and twins 7) they are really super strict on letting their kids eat sweets, so getting them a tin of sweets to share for Christmas would be a waste ...so what on Earth could I buy for the kids to share that isn't sweets, that would still be something they like, that is also like no more than £10-£15?

Any suggestions would be great, thanks :flower:

What about an arts and crafts kit, I think asda do them and lots of other places like a big box of arty stuff. You could also add a few bits of your own to make it more age appropriate.

Is it for the kids to share or the family?

If it was the girls I would go to boots & do a 3for2 lots of lovely sets in there for teens & pre teens.

Or as a family, what do they like to do? We often get family games for the wii! & We love getting family presents they are often the games we wouldn't buy ourselves.

sorry was watching footie while posting my reply, this came up after I looked if that makes sense. anyway this is a much better idea than mine & shows so much thought.

I was thinking arts and crafts stuff as well :) Always a hit with my daughter

Thanks for all the ideas, I never even thought of them myself, lol.

I got them arts and crafts stuff last year and they are always getting things like that anyway, so unless I can find something different than what they usually get, I don't think they'd be bothered that much, if that makes sense?

But they are always playing Wii, so a Wii Game would be an awesome idea :) - same with a board game. I'm now thinking of Electronic Monopoly as they are always wanting to play mine when the come over, lol

Thanks again! :)
Any other suggestions would still be great!

a dvd (or 2) most places got great offers on.

Asda have deals on at the moment for little Art and Craft pots.. They are £3 each. My asda has had them for ages now.

i too would go arts and crafts :) great idea who ever suggested it!
