what did you buy today that you didn't intend to?

I went to town today to get Zach some doodles, instead I brought £50 of clothes in Next for the kids, aviator sunglasses for me, new leggings, bikini, 2 vests and a pair of shorts for Jonny, doodles for Madi, blazers (lol) for Zach, a toy bus, and some jewellery bead making thing for Madi, ooh and a Griggs and some pens and colouring books lol.

A £40 balance bike. Only wanted to size it up - hes plenty big enough so thats another bday pressie
I've been eyeing up balance bikes myself but my brother got DS a peddle bike for his birthday so I really can't justify it.

Its really cool metal one instead of wood that ive seen alot. Am just hoping that it does teach balance and isnt just a gimick

A £300 computer tablet. How did I get talked into that??

Some spends are just so worth it though, we've never regreted the tablet, enjoy

I wouldn't really mind but my OH already had one. He just upgraded to the samsung 10.1 tablet so now the other one is for my son. Though not really sure what he's going to do with it.

I love the look of the wooden ones but I think the metal ones seem far more practical. I see how often DS jumps off his scooter and it drops behind him, he'd kill a wooden one in no time. I don't think it's a gimic, makes sense that it should help. Here's hoping for the decent weather to get lots of use of it.

DS will love it. There are some good easy to use phonics apps and jigsaw puzzles and I've got a few dvd's copied onto ours. I have to do quite a lot of traveling with my job and DS comes with me when i'm away over night, it's great for the car journeys. It's also great whenever he asks a question about what something is, we can sit comfortably and look it up together.
Oh, there's also subway surfer!

Just went to town to get my expecting friend some presents and ended up buying a bubble making machine for the garden. Hoping it will keep the little ones occupied for when I write card and pack the presents. I also bought a book (little mermaid), two balls and a pack of balloons! Twins are obsessed with balls, anyone else's little ones love balls? :)

Nothing today... but my OH did get me a pandora bracelet  :cloud9:

i went into the leisure centre to pay for jacks swimming lessons for next week and came out with a gym membership for the year for myself and for Leah

I've just bought DD a Ben & Holly wand on Amazon! DD is poorly so we've been up since 5am. Just wanted to make her feel better, which of course she will be by the time it arrives. No instant gratification here!

I went to real the other day to buy an ironing board and an iron and came out with that, a big bottle of Fanta, a 1kg tub of maoam kracher, dime milka, smarties milka and marshmallows. It should have been only 30€, ended up being 48€ :dohh:

mmm sweeties :D

I bought a leapfrog leaptop today but I've been looking out for one so it's ok. I've added it to Thomas' slow growing Christmas presents pile :)

So once you've got yourself nice and fit you can take up speed walking and march straight past the shops in future, good luck. Hope you're not like me and that you actualy get use out of the gym membership.

I think I would enjoy eating the evidence but would then needed Suzib76's gym membership to get me back in to my jeans. I always knew ironing could be dangerous.

What a good idea, the Christmas present pile. DS was just mentioning Christmas this morning. That makes it sound as though he doesn't mention it most mornings, and evenings! I'll remember for the next time I'm tempted. Thanks.

So that means she'll be well enough to enjoy it when it arrives - what a wonderful mummy you are planning that! Lol. Enjoy.
