What did your baby eat today? (all-inclusive edition!)

Today:

Breakfast - made maple syrup oatmeal but she refused it :(

Lunch - went out for a carvery with family and Holly ate some carrots, stuffing and turkey

Dinner - tiny amount of pasta with broccoli and carrots
 
We just started solids this week (doing BLW), so really only doing one meal a day at this point. I keep trying to do breakfast too but she always falls asleep first!

So yesterday, she had her first 'sunday lunch' and tried:

cucumber sticks (kinda boring, she's had these before)
roasted carrot and parsnip sticks with rosemary and thyme
a handful of 'champ-cannon' (mashed potato with shredded greens and spring onions)

She loved the carrots and parsnips and did a lot better than previously selecting things she wanted and picking them up.

Today, for lunch, we are going to try:

a sandwich of mashed banana, peas and mint (weird, I know, I just have some leftover minty pea dip I made)
more roasted parsnips
steamed broccoli and cauliflower
 
Yesterday we didnt have set meal times, just snacked all day on party food left over from OH's birthday party...:blush:

Logan had:
Party sausage rolls - loved
Pickled onions - loved
Strawberrys dipped in chocolate from the chocolate fountain - liked
Banana slices - hated
Cheese - liked
Birthday cake - loved
Pork pie - loved
Scotch eggs - loved

He also had 23oz of formula

9oz in the morning, 5oz before his nap and 9oz before bed

Not the healthiest of days, but at least he ate something :thumbup:
 
Yesterday-
Breakfast- Toast and Cream cheese
Lunch- Hot dogs and fries
Supper- Little pieces of steak, macaronie salad, Potatoe salad, And corn :)

Today-
Breakfast- Toast and apple sauce
Lunch- Pasta with tomatoe sauce and hamburg and cheese and garlic bread
Supper- we are having Pork chops, rice, and garden veggies :)!
 
B - porridge and toast
S - Ella's kitchen cookie
L - jacket potato with cheese and beans, plum organic peach fromage frais
S - red grapes
D - beef meatballs with pasta in a tomato sauce
 
Today Logan had:

Breakfast - Hot dogs and beans then Yoghurt
Snack - Jaffa cake
Lunch - Ham and cheese sandwich (only ate a few bites)
Snack - Another jaffa cake
Dinner - A slice of pizza and 2 slices of garlic bread
Drank a whole flask of water throughout the day too

Also had 23oz of formula
9oz this morning, 5oz before nap and 9oz before bed!

He's been SO hungry today! Think he's having a growth spurt? :shrug:

Dinner: ling cod and fruit salad

Yesterday

Breakfast: Half a yoghurt (which is good because she rarely lets me spoon feed her anything anymore and if I give her the spoon she just flings it..), pear slices and cheerios.

Lunch: Scrambled egg with cheese and mushrooms.

Dinner: Pasta with tomatoes and peas, then kiwi pieces after.

Snacks: Piece of apple, cheerios, organic biscuit, organic puffs, kiwi pieces, piece of melon, piece of banana rusk.

Yesterday:

Breakfast: refused breakfast :(

Lunch: white fish without the batter and a few chips

Dinner: chicken, pasta, carrots, broccoli - ate a small amount
 
Breakfast- coconut yoghurt
Snack- fruit stick
Lunch- cream cheese and salmon on a bagel
Dinner-fish pie made with sweet potato, loads of veg and loads of cheese. 2 strawberries.
 
Today:

Breakfast - refused yet again!

Lunch - small amount of a baked potato with coleslaw and veg

Snack - 1/3 of a bread roll

Dinner - 1 pea. Yes, seriously! :dohh:
 
Breakfast - refused, other than one tiny square of toast :dohh:

Lunch - about quarter of a cheese sandwich dipped in tomato soup

Dinner - macaroni cheese, a fruit pot and some greek yoghurt

Your daughter is exactly like my DD1. Eats practically nothing yet exudes energy. Maybe they have found a way of metabolising air?

Snack - Rich tea biscuit
Lunch - Refused
Snack - 2 little slices of pork pie and 3 bites of pineapple
Dinner - 1 slice of pizza, 2 slices of garlic bread

Drank a whole flask of water throughout the day again too

14oz formula - 5oz at naptime, 9oz before bed

I don't know how they manage it! I'm starting to think they must be metabolising air, surely they can't have so much energy for all this mischief with so few calories :haha:
 
B: weetabix and slice of fruit loaf
L: bit of a cheese scone and bit of egg and cress sandwich. Shared a peach with me.
D: bacon and leek risotto. Fruit pot.

Breakfast - Half a slice of marmalade on toast
Snack - Half a rich tea biscuit
Lunch - Half a mini pork pie, 1 grape, 1 bite of pineapple and 1 bite of pear
Snack - Half a mini pork pie
Dinner - Chicken, potato and pasta, half a rich tea for dessert

Formula - 15oz (6oz at naptime, 9oz at bedtime)
 
I've not posted in this thread yet - we're doing a mix of TW and BLW. We're only a couple of weeks into weaning, but I think I have a hungry girl who likes food! She's also breastfed on demand through out the day.

Brekky - we're not up to doing breakfast yet.

Lunch - Ella's kitchen pouch, she actually ate the whole lot which she doesn't usually do.
Nibbled on the crusts I tore from my sandwich (she'd just snatch them from me otherwise!) and some rice cakes.
Sucked the juice from a few halves of grapes, sipped on some water.

Tea - 1 cube of homemade sweet potato puree, gummed some chicken pieces, sticks of cheese and 'balls' of risotto. Half a fruit pot.
