she wont self settle, has to be held/rocked/patted, wont sleep if she realises im not there and has to come in my bed, tried cc a little last night but after an hr gave in as she was a mess and everytime we went up to reassure her she got worse, will, only sleep cuddled into me on her side or on her tummy, has a dummy raaaaa!!

i wouldnt mins the cosleeping but i have to move in with parents to finish uni and hubby will be 100+mile away and i will have to do nightshifts come june

and just stumped....

My lo is the same - won't sleep unless I am next to her. I wait until she is asleep then move her into her cot. She is SLOWLY becoming more used to sleeping there. Sorry I haven't got a solution! x

:hugs:

Everything I suggest I'm sure you will have tried but;

*white noise
*swaddle
*slumber bear
*Something with you smell on it
*cot projector
*One side of the cot removed and pushed against your bed?

Sorry if these are no good. My LO has always slept on her own. She even STTN for 4 mths but now her sleeping is bad and she wakes constantly due to teething/regression etc. I go back to work in May doing 3 nightshifts per week and I'm a bundle of stress thinking about it. LO usually only settles at night for me and I'm soo worried about what will happen if i'm not there!

xxx

Does travelling in a car help your LO to sleep or the hoover? If so you can buy CD's that have car journey, hoover tracks on them and this helps them to settle. They also have loads of other tracks on them too like the womb, hair dryer and rain. Hope you get some luck soon!
