I just went to the toilet and noticed a tiny bit of brownish colour when I wiped. I'm assuming this is the start of my miscarriage but I'm booked on Monday to have D&C. If I start to bleed heavily, do I just wait to see if nature will take its course or do I need to go to A&E? And what about Monday? Would I still go in for my op?

im not sure hun, but didnt wanna read n run. I think you just stay at home, unless its really bad. I would still go on monday to make sure everything is gone. Im so sorry, today of all days.

:hugs:

Personally i would go to A&E to see what they say. I know that at 8 weeks thay say there is alot of blood and its really painful. And at 4 and 5 weeks they let nature take its course. These are from my past experiences. Not sure about 7 weeks.

HTH.
 to you. Thinking of you.
xx

hiya susan , when i had an internal scan and they told me my nightmare had cum true(not this on, 1stpregnancy in march) i went home bleeding, and she said to me, if u fill a pad within half hr then cum straight up....and it was awful, i filled a pad in mintues :( but it only lasted 5min, i got shower and it slowed down, wk later i went for my dnc and i said, i dont think theres anything eles to cum out uknow, ive bled so much, she scanned me and there was loads left:? she said wot wuda cum out was part of the sac .... u do wot u feel right hun, if u want to go up2 A&E or stay at home then do so, BUT if the bleeding gets to heavy, like i said, defo phone ambalance :hugs:
my hearts really aching for u susan, seems like yday since i was there where u r now

I think I'm going to wait. I haven't had much bleeding, well I haven't had any bleeding, it's just brownish spotting every now and again and I don't have any cramps. Every now and again I feel slightly crampy but nothing really painful. The sonographer said that I could wait for this miscarriage to happen naturally on its own so I suppose, as long as I don't get too much blood or too much pain, then I'll be fine to wait. Only today and tomorrow to get through until I have my ERPC so I'll wait and see. It'll probably happen tomorrow night knowing my luck!

if it does start b4 monday, still defo go in monday, cos i did...i was bleeding a lot and had a wk to wait, but then they scanned me again (sure they will do same with u)
no not long now, when i went and came home, i was of course extremley stressed but then id had a wk b4 dnc to deal with it, to be honest i just wished my body bk to normal asap, to try again,to try for a super sticky healthy bean :hugs:

I was booked in for my D and c with my last m/cbut nature took it's course on the sunday night, the EpAC was closed on the sunday so we went along on the monday morning and i explained what happened they did a scan and let me go home. I am so sorry you are going through this honey. I have had 3 m/c's if you need to talk i'm here x

i was in hospital with my last m/c i was ment 2 have a d&c but that didnt go to plan. i m/c with assistance and the dr said i would have struggled at home alone. its always best 2 consult a dr if your not sure.
i wouldnt go it alone hunni.

Thanks. Well the bleeding is still very very slight. It's a very pale brown colour and I just notice every so often so I think it's slowly starting. I do feel ok about this at the moment, although I think it may hit me again on Monday. I have this feeling I will feel very empty but at least then, I can concentrate on getting myself better and starting over xxx

Still go for your appointment and dont cancel it (like I did - big mistake). It is best that you get checked out regardless of what stage of the miscarriage you are at.

I found that when I was miscarrying, a bath helped with the pain and was told to take paracetamol.

Please feel free to PM me at any time xxx
