Ok so some of u may have read previous threads on the latest with FOB. Having to get the non-mol order out against him, cause he said he would kick my door down and take LO off me when it was born etc.
His final words to me was....."Do what you want with the FUCKING THING, I dont give a shit"

Well anyway, his step dad came to my door last sunday and gave me a bag, told me there was letters in it etc so I took the bag and off he went. When I opened the bag inside it was............

1 pack of newborn nappies
1 pack of nappy sacks
3 vests
1 pack of dummies
1 bottle!!

(1 bottle like come on!!)

Anyway I have been on two minds on what to do with the stuff.
He hasnt provided anything the whole way thru the pregnancy, put me outta our home, took his girlfriend on holiday, and has tried his best to screw me over in more ways than one. (all to long to write but most of u have probably read throughout the last 7 months)

Do i send the stuff back and more or less tell him to shove it, I dont need anything from him, Iv done it all myself?

Or what I thought about the other day was.... Do I put the stuff in the attic and keep it, and when LO is older and asks about "daddy" etc then I have the stuff to show exactely what "daddy" did for LO.
Obviously this would only be when I felt that LO was old enough to understand and if it ever asks. Plus i would never do it if i felt the situation wasnt rite and LO couldnt handle it.


AHHH confusion is not my best quality at the minute, being over and in pain stops my brain from working.

Yeah id just shove it in the loft, and if bubs ever asks, then you can show them!
That way you dontr have the hassle of them wanting to now why you sent it back, but you dont actually have to use the stuff!

How insulting that thats all he has bothered to buy!

I like your idea about putting it in the attic and keeping it there. I agree with lou that it might caught you more hassle than you need right now if you were to send it back - although I can imagine how tempting it must be to tell him what he can do with it!

That is shocking that's all he's bothered to buy. Wonder what he thought you were going to do with one bottle!

I agree, just stick it in the loft and forget about it! Then when LO does come asking questions you can show them what there 'dad' did for them. I think sending it back saying that you don't need it cos you've done it all yourself will cause more trouble than its worth x

Glad u think its a good idea. I know that if i send it back, and if he does have a relationship with bubs and when its older, I can just hear him saying "well i sent loads of stuff to ur mum but she always sent it back"
So at least if he does throw something like that up in years to come, I can say well actually here is what all ur dad bought for u.

My sister says that if he is granted access to see LO when I agree and its old enough I should send 1 bottle down in the bag. If he gives off about it, then just say "well u seem to think 1 bottle is enough on a full time basis so surely 1 will do u for a day!"

It was a complete insult that he seriously thinks that is enough for his new born child to survive on. Boy is he gonna get a shock when he gets hit for £200 a month CSA in a few weeks. He`ll know all about it then.

I done the exact same thing the two vests and crappy teddy i got...they're in a carrier bag in the loft

Yeah i would put it all in the loft, so that when bubs is here, they will see what he gave you towards it all, but i like your sisters idea of just giving him one bottle lol xxx

If I was shoving things in the loft it'd be a carrier bag with about 15 pairs of white socks!! Yep seriously apparently 'thats all you can get when you don't know the sex' ....
