Hi,

I could do with some advice from anyone who has returned to work and is still breastfeeding. I go back to work on 1st June and although I'm only going back part-time, DS is going to be due a feed in the middle of my working day. I have tried expressing and feeding him in a bottle but he won't touch it!! Any tips or advice? I'm thinking I'm going to have to go and feed him mid-morning at the childminder's but am concerned this will upset his day...

TIA

what knid of bottle did you use and who fed it to him? Make sure its someone else giving him the bottle or chances are he won't take it from you (although my contrary little girl would only take it from me initially) and try different bottles,Ellis wouldn't take it from avant bottle but will the back to nature tommee tippee

It was a medela bottle. He used to take it fine and during his nursing strikes when he was 3-4 months old, he would only feed from those bottles. It's only really since we tried to introduce water in a bottle or cup with his solids has he started to refuse. Both DH and MIL have tried and failed.

He's 7 months old and refuses all kinds of cups!! We have had real issues with constipation and trying to get him to take water or juice has been a real nightmare! The only thing he will take a few mouthfuls from is a glass and that's only because he wants what I am drinking lol!
