Feeling so hot especially my flat gets barely any breeze. Night time is just awful! He still sleeps in Moses basket but we bedshare once he wakes for a feed. Atm I keep him in just a vest at bedtime during the day he has only nappy on. Hopefully his not too hot at night.

What are you doing? X

Last night Freya had on a vest and sleepsuit and was in her sleeping bag. She wasn't affected by the heat.

Today she has on a short romper and vest.

Just a vest last night as it was so hot.

My two week old only has a vest on as our flat is boiling hot. She kicks off any covers I put on her when she's sleeping.

Do you all have Air Conditioner? I am in New York and it's 97 degrees and above, so friggin hot.. I think during the day I could go without the air, but no way at night.. Especially since I am in Menopause ..Was just wondering about the air conditioner with you girls..Thanks <3

Air conditioning isn't very common across the pond, I think. I couldn't live without central air. I am in Nebraska and we are going to be over 100 with the heat index for the rest of this week.

No air con here - while the weather is hot it's not consistently hot to warrant air con

DS2 room is showing as 30 deg (86 for the US ladies ;) ) both him and DS1 are going to bed in just nappy/pants with a thin bag for DS2 and just a sheet for DS1

I'm terrified of baby over heating esp in their sleep. We have central air conditioning so I blast it at night and she's in a pj and in a sleep sac so she's cool. I think I'd die without AC it's too humid there...my pedi asked if we had AC and said to keep house at 21 degrees Inorder for baby to be comfortable and not dehydrate from sweating.

Without ac I would definately only put baby in a onesie

My 6 month old is I a 0.5 tog Grobag and a nappy. No vest. He is still sweating but if I take the Grobag off he can't settle to sleep. Wish I had AC so bad right now!

my 2 week old is currently just in a nappy and lightly swaddled in a cotton grow bag. last night she was in a vest and swaddled in a muslin

Do you guys get out and about with them? I had a GP appointment and felt horrible for him putting him in that situation. Poor guy was sweating :|

My 4 year old wanted to go park; thankfully found a tree to sit under

No AC here, it usually only gets this hot once a year so don't really need it. It's 30 degrees in our flat at the moment.
I had to take LO out this afternoon to pick DD1 up from school, felt awful but had no choice. DD1 would have wanted to go for an ice cream after school and I really fancied one as well, but LO was looking really red on her face and breathing heavily so had to come straight home instead so that I could undress her to cool her down.

Just a vest tonight, my older ones are in under pants/ nappy and are struggling

Isla is just in a vest and it's 30degrees in our bedroom 😩
We still go out and about though, I have a six year old so we go to the park etc, I just try to keep Isla in the shade.

Glad the be Scottish! Its been 25° here all day, still is now at 20 past 9 at night. Wee ones room is 21° so she will be in a vest and nappy, with a cellular blanket in her cot which she kicks off instantly.

Her room is normally 18 so its quite a bit warmer.

My 6 week old was in vest and nappy last night.
Nappy only today.
And its still so hot is asleep in just nappy now for night. But have sheet ready if needed.
Its been 33 here today.

Our room was reading 23 degrees. E was in a sleeved vest and her sleeping bag.

Ugh 86 in the house would be unbearable here, with the humidity. We lost power last week and it got up to about 80 and we could hardly sleep.

The heat index is over 100-105 (40 for you ladies!) here all week, we are under a heat advisory. I couldn't imagine not having AC! My children wear pajamas to bed, we cosleep. It's a cool 71 degrees in our room at night (just under 22 for you ladies over the pond!).

It's been like this ALL SUMMER for us, well when I say all summer I mean including June, so even longer than all summer. Not all over 100, but in the 90s pretty much every day, and oppressively hot and humid.

We only go out to the park before 10 am. If we don't make it before 10 am, we don't go out. Well, unless it is to the pool or splash park or somewhere with water.

Reading 25 in LO room last night . Had both Ds (2) and dd (4m ) in vests and nappies only. Had a cotton sheet over Ds kicked off and cellular blanket over dd legs also kicked off . Both slept u like their mum ... My feet where on fire !!!
