Morning ladies.. here is my stoopid question of the day :dohh:-

My normal cycles range beteen 21 and 35 days... last month i had an anovulatory cycle at 35days. I had an internal ultrasound on CD13 (the other day) had some spotting on CD14 with medium flow on CD15 and today CD16 some light flow to spotting! My normal period is normally about 3 days of medium to light with some spotting either side so this seems a lot shorter than normal.

So would you class this as a/f or just some weird reaction to the ultrasound?

The reason for asking is that i need to arrange a CD3 test and am wondering whether to do this for tomorrow or hang on and wait for a/f at a more normal cycle length!

Sorry Hun! I don't know the answer. But r u feeling like u normally do during AF or is it different?

it did feel like it could be a/f, i think i'll get the bloods done anyways and if a/f comes again arrange another test.

I dont think you would get a weird reaction to the ultrasound hun. Sounds like af. Why not have a word with gp and/or get bloods done. Ultrasound should not cause bleeding. XX

I Went for day 3 tests today anyway - I reckon it is af and the nurse at the clinic said the bleeding would not have been caused by the ultrasound :-)
