Any of you ladies know if it is possible to ovulate while still bleeding from a 2 week long period?
I know that it is very rare for most women to ovulate early or during their period at all. But for us with pcos, our ovulation is so sporadic that I am now wondering if I end up ovulating during one of my lengthy bleeds.
I guess part of what brings on this question is that when I was on a medicated cycle I would generally ovulate around cd 17-19. But after I finally stopped bleeding this cycle on cd 14 I decided to take an opk which wasn't nearly positive but was fairly dark. The ones I have taken since have all been light.
My husband couldn't hold out on sex any longer so we had sex on cd 11 and then again on cd 17. It is now cd 20 and I have not been symptom spotting at all because I've assumed that I haven't been ovulation, but I have noticed that the past two days my uterus has felt mildly crampy, my stomach has been in knots and occasionally nauseas as well as me being WAAAY overly emotional and having the strangest of dreams.
It is very uncommon for me, even when I had been pregnant both times this year.
Well, the emotional part was common with those and it did start pretty early. But With My first pregnancy I had been on clomid so that could explain that, and my second was conceived immediately after my first miscarriage. Both obviously miscarried in the end, but idk.. this just seems odd that I'm having these strange "symptoms". Especially since prior to my period I had ovarian hyperstimulation. My doctor had said that it should clear up with my period, but maybe it didn't or maybe that lead to an early-ish ovulation while I was still bleeding?
Anyways, if anyone has any experience with something similar happening or knows if this is even possible at all I would love to know!
