Okay, so my last period was on Dec 18 and my cycle ranges from 22-24 days so I was expecting my period around Jan 9, and it still hasn't come. I wasn't really worried about it until I realized a couple days ago that I hadn't started. So on Jan 23 I took 2 tests and were both negative then the next morning I took another and it had a faint line so I couldn't tell. So do you think I could be pregnant or should I wait a couple more weeks and see if I start? Thanks, Katie

The best thing to probably do is to wait a couple more days and take another test. I didn't get a positive result until 4 days after I missed my period, so it might just be something like that going on. If you still don't get your period after another week or so and you still don't have a positive result, I'd go to the doctor just to make sure nothing major is wrong. Good luck!

Perhaps I would go in to your doctors and have them do a blood test. Kind of strange that it showed up negative a few times, especially almost 2 weeks after your period was due. Yet, it's been known to happen where home pregnancy tests are negative but a blood test from the doctors is a positive.

I recommend you test once more in the morning and if it's negative then make an appointment with your doctor...
It is kinda strange that 2 weeks after missing your period you would get a false negative.

What type of test was it? Originally I took a test from a supermarkets own brand, cost £3 I think...I showed negative. Then two weeks later I took three ClearBlue's and each one said I was positive.

Take a clearblue, they may be costy but it's priceless when you find out you're going to be a mother
