What does it mean!!

Hi all, I've just had my sweep and she said that the cervix is soft, stretchy and effaced. She said I'm 1-2 cm dilated but my cervix is still slightly posterior. Does that mean I'm ready to go or will it still be a while with having the posterior cervix? Excited and nervous!

Did she say how effaced you were? Mine was similar at 41wks and I'm still here at +12......

She said fully effaced. Oh no, so it could be a while still! Grrr!! X
