What happens when they get to 1?

I just realised 1 is fast approaching and I have no clue what happens then? Do you still use powder? Do you give proper milk? How much should they be having.... eeek! lol

its considered ok to give them cows milk, have noticed cow and gate does a 1+ milk??

my 5 year old had a tummy upset at 9 months and we stopped formula and he started having full fat cows milk then and he was fine

as long as they are on a healthy balanced diet they will be fine as they willl get the goodness they need from food rather than formula

You can either stop formula and give cows milk, or you can stop formula and give a toddler/growing up milk.

As long as they are having a good and varied diet, milk intake can drop right down now if you want it to. At 16 months Brooke has 12oz of toddler milk a day, HTH

He has between 20 -22 oz of milk still. Morning, after lunch and bedtime!

He has a nice varied diet but he doesn't eat huge amounts really. Grazer i think! Should i start lowering his milk or just let him do it when he's ready?

i was also worried about this as my daughter was approaching one i reasherd the internet and everthing when they get to one there formula milk can be swithed to our full fat cows milk not semi skimmed until they are two my daughter wouldnt take full fat cows milk at first so i gradually weaned her onto it by adding cows milk with her formula the first day i put 1oz cows milk with 5oz formula then the next day 2oz cows milk to 4oz formula until she was just having cows milk she now has 5oz bottles 4-5 times a day
