what has the hairdresser done to my babies hair

If you don't like it, just start pushing it to the side now so once it's near her eyes it'll already be sort of trained to go that way. Both my older girls never had fringes, I just pushed theirs to the side as they wouldn't keep clips in, my 7 yr old still has a side parting from my pushing it to the side!

I think it looks really cute, it's always hard getting their hair cut when they are little as it makes you realise how fast they are growing xx

I think she looks adorable, honestly.

I do feel for you though, DS2 has so much hair and when I took him for his first haircut I told the lady I didn't want it to still look wispy like a baby (he was not even 1 yet) and she cut this dead straight fringe. I HATED it. She was a total cow too and looked at me like I was a crazy person when I asked to keep a few locks of his hair for his memory box. (the hairdresser who cut my first son's hair was collecting the hair for me and put it in an envelope and wrote the date on)

It will grow back and quicker then you think :hugs:

She looks so cute!

My dd already had 2 fringe cuts so far. Now it's getting long again and my mom wants me to get it cut again.

She's absolutely adorable!! And I think the cut is very cute actually. I had to cut ds hair for the same reason - he was born with a head full of curls that morphed into a gigantic mound that he looked like Prince from Purple Rain days but when he started walking, I was afraid he wouldn't be able to see where he was going and putting it up in a ponytail made him look truly girly and while I didn't care, it seemed crazy that I was putting bands and clips in everyday that would be a mess at the end of day. I cut it myself as DH wouldn't allow the hairdresser but I was still sad - but it was necessary.

But back to yours - she's really adorable and the haircut doesn't take away from that AT ALL :)

The hairdresser cut my daughters hair into a fringe when she was a baby and now that the rest of her hair is growing out I think it looks adorable and even though I think she looked older that the babies that didn't get their hair cut now I think it's cuter and makes her look sweet compared to her little friends without bangs

OMG - m_t_rose - Just wanna eat her up!! Really super cute!

So cute. My little girl had a fringe soon as her hair was long enough. Most little girls I know have fringes, I know more who do than not. I don't cut rest of hair but I trim her fringe and my daughter always looked like a doll with her ringlets and fringe lol. I think I only know one toddler girl who doesn't have a fringe

I think its cute! I had a fringe as a baby, so I guess I am biased....lol it reminds me of my baby pictures:D

Looks cute!

I'm not sure what to do about mine, she's 15 months and it's starting to go in her eyes but I hadn't planned on cutting it. Going to see how she goes with clips, hair ties and headbands first!

FWIW, I cut DS's hair and he has a fringe-ish, I have to make it look natural as he's a boy though.

Here he is after a recent trim:

I don't have any pictures of it when it was too long, but I've trimmed it two or three times, I keep going for his "natural" look, like this, as it was growing in the first place:

I pinch all the hair up, twist it, and trim off the ends. That varies the ends and makes it nice and natural/wispy looking. I was going for wispy looking though.

Aww I think she looks cute! My 7 week old DD has Grandad hair... thick, dark hair around the sides and back and then thin on top like an old man hehehe
