Hi all, what do you know - at work again for my long shift...

Was thinking about this question and though it might be fun to talk about or vent!

For me, it has been an exciting process but I am kinda obsessed. Always wanting to temp/CM check, OPKs, researching and BD! My husband loves the latter aspect (haha) it but I get the feeling sometimes he is just not in the mood (which shocks the heck out of me!). I see him actally hesitate after strings of BDing lol and I'm like whaaaat?? :haha:

He used to want it EVERYDAY and now I am the one asking for it, sometimes saying  pwwease!!! Haha, I just don't want to miss our window!

Funny story, last night he wanted to go to a buddy's retirement party before my long day today. After pushing to stay out later and later, he finally asked if he could have someone drop him off and stay until close. OMG, I was so ticked inside!!! :growlmad: I could have been home relaxing, instead of watching him get schnockered. He's like, "I'm gonna pay for this later aren't I?" Nahhh...

...Haha, well guess who woke him up 5am for some BD time - yep! I don't think I helped his hangover!!!

Overall, I think it is getting us more excited but otherwise for feeling the the 'guy' in the relationship asking for so much BDing, I am enjoying it! Especially getting on B&B and talking with you ladies! :hugs:

I agree! It's definitely brought us closer together but when we first decided to start trying I had no idea how absolutely mind consuming it would be! But I think once you decide you want it you want it now so all the "work" and all the waiting is enough to drive you crazy! It's put a whole new spin on :sex: that I didn't really expect either but all in all I've ALWAYS wanted a baby so I'm just pumped to be finally trying!! :)

Good for you taking charge, lol! Yeah, the first 3 months of ttc, it brought us closer together because there was always that "what if I'm pregnant" excitement. Now, I'm way too obsessed. Sexually, he is up for BD a lot, but the quality goes down as the days drag on:winkwink:.

Sometimes, like now for instance, I'm in TWW, and feel no symptoms. This is making me really depressed and bitchy because it just like I don't care about anything much right now, I feel like I'm just waiting to ovulate again-so we have been arguing because he doesn't get why I'm all upset and is mean back. It's nothing more than a tiff here and there but still-doesn't feel very supportive.

So I would say it's changed me way more than him! I need to stop freaking out so much, but it's SO hard when it is so important to me.

Yeah im always asking to BD now and it was always the hubby asking before we started ttc. He is just as committed as me but I think sometimes he wishes he could just go to sleep! I thought that he wouldn't be able to get enough, but turns out he can haha x

TTCing has definitely made my husband and me a lot closer. From the day that we decided that we were ready to have babies to taking HPT's and watching them develop together, to (sadly) going through a miscarriage at 17 weeks with our son.

I usually keep all the sciencey stuff to myself though (like when I'm O'ing, I usually don't tell him, I just jump him and he usually goes along with it)

That is the part that I had to figure out. The "sciencey" stuff was a turn off to my hubby. It made him feel like he was just a sperm bank and took all of the romance and spontaneity out of BDing. So I TRY to keep it to myself, but he knows because right around O time I am constantly asking him to BD and after that week is done, not so much :winkwink: But overall I think it has been good for both of us to finally both be on the same page in being ready to conceive, although, neither of us expected it to be as difficult as it has been. But I guess great things are worth the wait and effort.

Hahaha, that is true. No foreplay (though sometimes overrated) but not much romance. My poor hubby was so hungover, I'm sure he felt so used and violated as I left for work 3 minutes after sayin' THANKS HUN! :happydance:

My husband is the same way! He doesn't want to feel like we're BDing just because we have to :haha:

I must say though, getting up at 5am...that's dedication!! I think I need to step up my game a bit :haha:

I had to be at work by 6am today and won't be home until tomorrow morning... I was desperate lol! Not sure if this is smart BDing everday right now, tomorrow would be 5 days in a row... Maybe I will wait to tomorrow night to let him store back up :haha:!
