Hey ladies,
I am 27 and my husband is almost 29 and we have been trying for a year without success. He has had a test which came back normal and I had hormonal tests which came back better than average. We are now beginning to start to test when I am actually ovulating this month, however I've read on here the success stories of clomid... What is this?? Can I ask for this from my docs?

Xxx

Hi, clomid is a drug used to induce ovulation. It helps if you are not ovulating and is also prescribed for people for are but are unexplained.
I had 3 months from my GP for long cycles (35-75 days apart) but not all GP's will prescribe it. I then went to fertility specialist and after all the testing and had a laparoscopy to check for endometriosis, I was prescribed clomid again at a higher dose 100mg instead of 50mg for 6 months. It has regulated my cycles to 30-32 days but not yet pregnancy, im on my last cycle now, hope that helps!

Thank u for explaining that - my cycles are pretty average, so I assume I can't have that

Wishing u lots and lots of luck xx

some people do still have it that ovulate already that have been tested and everything ok but are not getting pregnant
everything else is fine with me and DH, I just don't ovulate enough
good luck too, hope you get your bfp soon
xx
