What is on your To-do list today? (Housework/Home related)

Would anyone like to write up a list of what they should be doing today around the house today (or the week)?

Keep us on track and be good to strike it off once completed.
Maybe motivate each other to get jobs done and how to help with hints and what you like/dislike, and if you work on routine or do whatever you see at the time.

My To-Do list...

Monday 15th August...

• Focus room - Living Room
• Strip beds and wash girls bedding
• Do 2x laundry loads and hang out
• Sort towel box
• Clean bathroom/en-suite
• Throughly hoover and dust girls room
• Organise shoes from weekend
• Do yesterdays ironing
• Empty all bins
• Go through make-up and hair drawers
• Sort any post (electoral role)

put the last load of washing in the dryer..or maybe on the line...vaccum.. pop cutlery away and off to my friends not much cleaning to do today..go me!

Put the washing in (Which I've done)
Clean Kitchen (Half done!)
Hoover whole of downstairs
Mop the floors
Wait for the electrician (Gr!)
Maybe go and pick up some bits from town..

Today I've got to:

Take cake into work!
Post recorded delivery letters in town
Hoover middle floors of the house
Tidy our bedroom
Tackle the laundry pile
Cook some batch meals to freeze
Go to the library to return books

Today I need to

- Wash and hang to dry 3 loads of washing including Tegan's bedding
- Put away yesterday's two loads of washing
- Hoover and dust downstairs
- Collect Tegan's new bedside table
- Wrap some of Tegan's birthday gifts

Well some of this has been done already but heres what I have;

Clean up roxys mess from being in all night >.<
Make sure roxy has food and water
Weigh pups
Get Oh ready for work
Get kyle up dressed,fed etc
Put the washing on the line
Put more washing in the machine
Make sure roxy has food and water
Cook lunch
Clean up more mess from roxy
Give kyle a bath
Sort out clothes/crap upstairs
Put kyle down for a nap?
Clean living room
No doubt clean up more mess from roxy
Make sure roxy has food and water
Start dinner ready for Oh coming in

This is pretty much the same everyday haha Oh does the washing up and cleaning of the bathroom

fold washing (done)
Breakfast and lunch dishes are sat waiting for me...just taking a break with my hot chocolate
clean kitchen sides (still not done coz I got hungry)
cut the grass in the front garden..rake and bag. (NOT doing...I convinced OH to do it...had to do it with strimmer because we have no lawnmower. He gave up and the amount of wasps outside means I won't even try. Just ordered a lawnmower!)
clean bathroom (done)
tidy bedroom (mostly done-done)
tidy Liam's bedroom
cook dinner
clean up after dinner.

Then once Liam has gone to bed tonight I have a lovely big pile of ironing to get started on.

tomorrow is the same except the food shop
i need to get the guinea pig's food, hay etc
and put my prescription in in the morning

Focus room - Kitchen
Put away clothes
Write shopping list
Hoover stairs
Wash hall floor
Ironing
Wipe/clean ensuite and cloakroom
Re-cut flowers
De-scale OH flask once he's home
Go to Wickes for bathroom parts, continue re-doing bathroom

Didnt get everything done yesterday (ironing will be added to today, be will more likely be tomorrow due to doing the re-modelling of the bathroom)

I didn't get everything done either. And I now have a load of washing in the tumble dryer to add to my ironing pile.

done today:
sort through paperwork (nearly finished just have to put a couple of things away)
breakfast and lunch dishes
shopping delivered and put away
taps descaled (they were terrible and I bought some AMAZING stuff for them!!)
dinner
clearing up after dinner
fold and put away washing
ironing

Still to do:

Tidy Liam's room (If I get time between dinner and bed- didn't get time because of the ironing)
Bath Liam (might make this OH's job though-decided he can wait until the morning and bath with me)

and most importantly sit on my ass for a couple of hours and watch TV (or listen to TV and sit with my laptop on BnB)

I actually have a housework planner but rarely stick to it, life is too unexpected, things always come up and with a nearly 1 year old things rarely go to plan!!

I've been cleaning the house for the past two days, and I'm nearly finished! The background info is that I'm English but living in the Med, so I'm boiling hot all summer, and pregnant to boot, so I'm even hotter than I am normally. I haven't been able to do much over the summer months, so the house has got into a terrible state. My MIL, bless her, agreed to take my daughter during the day for two days so that I could get everything sorted around the house now the weather's cooling down (finally).

Yesterday I did:

* Cleared lounge, cleaned surfaces
* Loads of laundry
* Sort out clothes in the bedroom (all in bags since we had to chuck out our wardrobe due to mould)

Today I've done (so far):

* Sorted out LO's clothes into those that fit and those that are too small. Bagged up the small ones for the new baby
* Cleaned bathroom
* Cleaned windows

Still to do:

* Sweep and mop
* Clean toilet
* Washing up
* Do laundry (we have a massive backlog)
* Collect three loads of laundry that are currently hanging outside, and fold and sort everything
* get a massive chocolate bar and sit on the settee and scoff it

lol i need to do so much its just having the energy i hope my nesting instints kick in soon...i need to clean bathroom and vaccum upstairs..ive done downstairs also on my todo list is the decluttering which makes me wanna cry with just the thought

For tomorrow:
Hoover the front room.
Tidy Evie's room. (basically put her toys away and Hoover)
Wash down the toilet and bath, plus sweep and mop in the bathroom.
Tidy the dining room. (it looks like a hoarders room because of all the bags I've got in there that I haven't put away for a few days )

Have another viewing on the house today so although housework is done I want to concentrate on the little bits to ensure its super clean and tidy so if they dont like the house I know there is nothing I could have done.
