What languages do you speak?

It's so interesting to see how many of us speak various languages!

I speak english (obviously) Irish , some French , some German and conversational Swedish

French, Japanese and a teeny tiny bit of German

French at school
Japanese for 2 yrs
Basic German for 1

Id love to do more with my French and Japanese. I can read hirigana and some katakana, no kanji yet though

i cannot find anywhere the phonetic russian alphabet for to download so can write in russian.

Привет девучки! Как хороший прочитать русский язык. You can add Russian alphabet from your computer, don't need to download anything.

My first language is Estonian but I'm fluent in English (not so obvious for us) and Russian.
Beside that I can understand Finnish but don't talk it, have learned Spanish and French but don't remember them anymore.

My tutor was really good and his wife was russian so had good practise but its been at least 3 years since even looked at it and its bad how much ive forgot.

Im not fluent or anything but the secondary school i went to first was one of the only schools in Ireland that taught latin and it was mandatory! Its a fantastic language though and the better your english the easier it is to learn because a lot of words are very similar in sound.I used to think my Irish was awful, because im not very good at speaking it conversationally but I took my niece to the library a few days ago and read her a load of books in irish! Its handy to learn it when your younger definatly, they sell baby books in irish that are great!

A tiny bit of Spanish from school - random useless things like where is the station

French is basic as in I know the words I need to say but not great at putting together a proper sentence, gets me by over there though..eventually!

We get French students where I work sometimes, its great when they speak and don't realise you understand them and say something (very basic lol). I get to do French letters for them sometimes too. I can listen and read okay, its the writing and speaking back I struggle with!
