Since coming off the pill in May, ive just been taking it as it comes really and not obsessing over getting upduffed but seeing as The witch has shown her ugly face today I'd like to make a start from this month to do all the right things.

Really, I'm just looking for advice. I've kept notes of all the dates I've come on but what else should I be doing? Ive been reading about temping and OPKs so should I get some of them?

Any and all advice would be fab! x

You should do what you feel comfortable with hun. OPKs and Temping are really useful and help to guide you as to when :sex: should happen.

Good luck! and plenty of :dust:

I would get yourself some ovulation sticks for a start. That way you can time your bd more effectively. You could try the egg meets sperm plan thingy too. If you dont mind paying for it, there have been plenty of success stories using a clear blue fertility monitor. They are pricey but you may be able to get one from ebay for about £50 and they have quite a high resale value. Anway, goodluck. x

I started this cycle using OPK and BBT and I couldn't go back to not using them!

Fertility Friend is amazing especially as you get all the VIP features for free for the first 30 days. It takes all of your data and predicts when you will ovulate, best chances of conception based on bedding schedule, when you have ovulated and when you should test!

Good Luck Darling!

Thank you all! I've just joined fertility friend and i've also downloaded an iPhone app "Pink Pad"

Where are the best places to get OPK's from?

I would say take a multivitamin or something specific like pregnacare conception. It has all the right things in it including the folic acid which is important even before conception as if your body's stocked up on it there's even less risk of spina bifida. I've been taking it for a couple of months now and do feel generally healthier. It is dearer than other multivits but I just got 3 for 2 at tesco so was a bit less pricey and you can continue with them once preggo too

I got mine from ebay - can get them really cheap x

Is there any particular ones that are better or all they all about the same?
