What should the heartbeat be with a doppler?

I just picked up 170 with my doppler, it seems a bit high. Does anyone know the range of what it should be?

When I was at the hospital today it went from anywhere from 139-180 over a 45 min period..I think I averaged 156ish

when i was at the hospital the other morning, they put me on a monitor and said she should be anything between 120-160
but she was averaging 157 ish going right up to 175 sometimes! so def the higher end of the scale. im 34 weeks and its that high so I guess it shows it can vary?

mines normally 140 for baby and midwife said that was a good healthy heart lots of times. She said that was also a girl. I dont know I just see on my card its always 140 or just a bit over.
