What sort of crib should I go for?

I had a Moses basket with DD1.. She didn't like it very much and she outgrew it very quickly .. This time I wanted to get a crib so I can keep baby by my bed and keep baby in there a bit longer.

Do I just get a normal sterdy crib? A rocking crib, or gliding crib? Really confused! I don't like the idea of baby possibly getting too used to rocking motions to help get to sleep.. If that makes sense? But then I've never used a crib so I don't know of their are any other benefits to a rocking or gliding crib

Any insight? Anyone else getting a crib?

I've got a swinging crib which my first used and I really like it, u can stop it from swinging to. I'm going to be using it again this time to. But its up to you and what you like. But I like there swinging cribs
