What teat size at what age??

Hi all- really hope you can help!!

Abby is 3 months old and is starting to thrash about and turn her head away towards the end of her bottle like she's really bored ( as opposed to being in pain!)
We're currently using dr browns bottles with teat 2 but I'm hesitant to move to teat 3 as that says for 6 months old!! She's still on Aptamil first as she has been since her first week.

Any experience with this? I'm worried about drowning her with level 3 teats and I've heard the dr brown y cut teats are like a level 5 teat so we can't switch to them!! Thanks!!

why not try a size 3 teat & see how she goes with it?

you could always try a stage 3 teat and see how she goes if she doesnt cope well just switch back and try again at a later date. all babies are different with teats so you dont have to stick to the ages on them, callie moved to her stage 3 teat only recently ( we use avent) and thats from 3 months but she just couldnt cope with them any sooner, she still struggles with them but moans with a stage 2 teat now as she cant get the milk fast enough so now its just about her learning with the new teat flow, x
