For the past 2 years I've been at a technical high school studying cosmetology, which I don't even want to do. I'm now going into my junior year and I need to decide if I'm going to stay at my current school or go to the local public school. The public school has a day care at the school which would be my main reason for going there. I can still use the day care and stay at my current school but I just can't imagine knowing my baby's at a completely different school with different people and I can't be right there if anything goes wrong. My boyfriend doesn't want me to switch schools and I just don't know how to make him see it from my point of view. What would you ladies do in this situation or if you've had a similar one?

Well if I was you is put it on hold completely, especially seeing as you don't want to do the course your on. The first years of a Babus life is a precious time, one which you can never get back, however its never to late to return to education. By the time your child has started primary school or even playschool you may have more of an idea of what you want to do :)

I think that school is super important. I think that if you will function better at the same location as your child then perhaps the move is best. You achieving your educational and career goals are in the best interest of your baby. Take some time to really think about what you want to do for your career and maybe switching schools and careers paths will become a positive.

I wouldnt put off highschool at all. A diploma is the most important achievement these days. Id switch schools though if you arent happy where you are.

Go to the one that will be best for you and you alone. I hated being away from my baby but I left school at 38week pregnant and had her the next week! I then went back when I was 11 weeks old. It was heart breaking but it really is the best thing to do in my opinion. It'll ensure your little one has a good life and you can live up to your dreams x

If you don't want to continue in cosmetology, I definitely would consider going to your public school, especially if it has a daycare.

If you feel you would be more comfortable switching school, then I would.
