Hi Ladies:flower:

I've just finished a cycle of IVF with ICSI. I have quite a lot of meds left, some of which are still sealed. I assume I can use these for my next cycle at the end of October. I also have a gonal F pen and buserelin which I only used once, before triggering. I have a feeling because they are open I'll have to dispose of them but I'm really hoping I could use them for my next cycle. The drugs cost a small fortune so I'd like to save pounds where I can but not if it's unsafe.

Any advice would be gratefully recieved!:hugs:

Hi

I know Boots will take left over meds. Anything unopened I'd be inclined to keep though, like you say SOOOO expensive. Check the use by dates on them though.

xx

My FS said keep them in the fridge and use them next time. Before I pick up my next bag of drugs, I'm going to email and let them know what I don't need!

I don't think you have to get rid of the opened ones if they aren't past the expiration date. I'd def. keep them and ask the Dr.

Hi :) It's perfectly ok to use those meds as long as you keep them chilled in the fridge and use before the expiration date.
