"What to Expect" app is ahead a week?

The what to expect app and newsletter has me at 5 weeks and I'm
Only 4 weeks. I'm entering the same due date... It's annoying me haha
Anyone else have this issue?

Are you from UK? I have the same issue.
The app is American and so it works out that you've DONE your 4th week and are doing your 5th week.
Mine says I'm 15 weeks 4 days on the tracker page, but if I go to read the week update, it talks about week 16, annoying really, so I usually flick back and read week 15 instead x

I think it is telling you what week you are in. For example, (a bad one, I know, since you are pregnant before you are pregnant, buy for math purposes) the day you are considered pregnant is in your first week, even thought you aren't a week pregnant until the 7th day, but because it wouldn't be your zeroeth week, it would be your first week. So by the time you are 5 weeks and 2 days, you are in your sixth week. Does any of that make sense? I can't be sure tho, because I don't use the app.

It's because you're in your fifth week of pregnancy, even though you're still 4+ iykwim

I understand its the week I'm heading into but it still annoys me! I just go back a week and read that!

I see what you are saying when u are 4 weeks and 2 days u finished your 4th week and are moving into your 5th but all the other sites, boos, apps don't have these things occurring until you are 5 weeks and 2 days for example... I just don't know what's correct and what isn't... I know I'm being too anal but I didn't want to think the heart was beating when I'm 4 weeks and 2 days if it doesnt happen until I'm 5 weeks and 2 days haha

Yeah I noticed this when I was pregnant lol.
Extremely annoying!

I tend to keep the what to expect app because it has the best tracker on it with the way it says the size of a .... and the countdown to the due date.

But otherwise I have the "health and parenting; pregnancy" app and Sprout Pregnancy - which is my favourite, gives you a nice photo each week of what the baby looks like inside of you. I scanned through up to 30 something weeks and cringed a bit at how uncomfortable it looked with babys head so far down lol!

I'm the same way I got rid of that app, I use TheBump 'cause it updates based on the correct week. I got all excited thinking my appointment I would be 6 weeks 4days! I was bummed when I realized I'll be 5 wks 4d and might not have an exciting visit

Yup, confused me for a minute or so too. Actually I like seeing it that way as mine now saying you're entering week 12

You've been in week 12 for 5 days 2 more and you're week 13!
