They also scheduled a separate appt for me, aside from all of the paperwork and health stuff, with a counselor. She talked to me about how I felt about the pregnancy, how my home life was, and basically just made sure that I was doing ok mentally about the pregnancy. It actually was nice that someone was thinking about me, and how I was doing. And, in California, they use money from taxes from tobacco products to put together packets that have TONS of info about raising babies, from prenatal, to 5 years. With DVDs, books, and helpful phone numbers.
Good luck with what they have you do. And congrats!!
