Hey everyone,

So it doesn't look as if I am even ovulating anymore so as soon as AF arrives I am making a doctor's appointment. I was just wondering what I can expect?

How do I start, is there anything I should or shouldn't say? I am very nervous about going, should I take DF with me or would it be better to make seperate appointments? I hear so many stories about rubbish doctors. :( Any input will be appreciated thank you. Xxx

At my Dr app I thought it would be more helpful te tell the truth and answer all of his questions accordingly: we never know when one little symptom or fats could make a difference. Bring Df for support if you want(maybe have his input on treatments or pillss the Dr will recommand) and if he hasnt been tested for anything maybe the Dr will suggest something...Good luck :)

Thank you, I will probably take DF along for moral support plus he wants his swimmers tested. Can I ask what kind of questions you were asked? I tend to stumble with my words when I am nervous and my eyes start welling up. I want to be prepared and not end up sitting there crying my eyes out for an hour lol

Well I had a list of questions prepared but ask him at the end (because while he asked some of his Q's some of mine were answered). It was last summer so I might forget some but he ask about the basics of my lifestyle (food, exercise, ect), then went on the ask specificaly about my cycles (lenght, heavy period or not) and ask if I could recall some months that were different (like some I spot mid luteal phase when most not). I also brought my temp charts and do so if you have some because he seemed to like that. He did the same with Df but Q's for him. Then he did a sort of pap test and cheked for early signs of endo on cervix, polyps and the basic he could see. He did the same for Dh. Afterward he proposed a series of testing and what we should start with first. I'm in Canada and here all medical expenses are paid for by government and the balance that we need paid (like some fertility test and stuff) I have covered with insurance. I don't know how it work where you live so he will prob ask about that, but be as honest as you can because like I said the answer might be in the details. Good luck and I hope you find a good Dr.
