what were your progestrone blood test results?

Hi all im new to all this so its all quite confusing lol i had the 21 day test the other day and got my results back today. It says:

FSH 5.6
Luteinizing Hormone 11
Prolactin 291
Progesterone 1.6 18
Oestradiol 343

can anyone tell me if this is any good or is my gut instinct correct and im going to need some help conceiving?

ok, where to start... right, good points

FSH is nice and low (they say the lower the better, its an indicator of how many eggs you have left). Estrogen is a good number as well, its normally used in combination with fsh to diagnose prematre ovarian failure, but both yours look great, so no worries there). Prolactin is within range (high levels can supress ovulation, its also the hormone that helps produce breastmilk).

Not so good:
the ratio of LH to FSH should be 1:1. yours is almost 2:1. This would be a strong indicator of PCOS, which if you have any symptoms of (irregular cycles, being overeight, excess hair) they may have already suspected.
The progesterone needs to be over 15 (in the US- ng/ml) or 30 (in the UK- nmol/ml) to show ovulation in that cycle, which yours doesnt, which would imply you didnt ovulate this time, or it was done too late/early.

I saw a girl on one of these sites for ttc and there were two seperate girs with pro lower then 14 and both were pregant so you could very well be even with low numbers or you could not be pregant even if you have high numbers. but you can still get preggo with low numbers. good luck and baby dust to all.

I just got my results back today for my cd 21 blood test. I asked the results clerk and she said it was normal so i asked what it was and she said 58. Thats all she told me, is this good???
