They might just put you on the pill for a month. That's what they usually do for me tbh

i wouldve thought provera, but it isnt a true AF, its a withdrawal bleed from the provera - but hopefully it will kick start things for the next cycle.

Thanks girls, I have the pill knocking around from when we were going to stop ttc for a while should I just start taking that then, just for a month and then stop taking it hopefully it will work. What do you girls think? Thanks again xx

im not 100% sure & tell me if im wrong but isnt an early m/c the same as a m/c say anytime between 4 - 12 week? im guessing it is & then you should get ur AF in about 6 week time? maybe you wont need to take anything an let things return normally

Yes it is hun, but with mine the baby has been absorbed into my body and the body still thinks the baby is there, so I need to be given meds to bring on af as no one knows how long I have already waited and I would rather get something to bring on af and try to get back to ttc rather than wait who knows how long xx

Seek advice from your GP first huni.

When I had the same kind of MC as you, I didn't have AF for about another 6-8 weeks after I found out I'd MCd, but dr ddidn't want to give me anything.

After 1st MC I didn't have AF for another 11 months, had AF once then 11 months later nothing, gynae put me on pill for a month and wasn't so bad afterwards, but long cycles realy do suck.

Well I have a doctors appointment at 8.30am so will see what they have to say about it but I dont like the doctor I have to see as he ALWAYS comments on my weight and size but I know I have no choice as they didnt have any appointments for today and that was the only available doctor tomorrow xx

Well what a load of shite he came out with he says basicially, I cant carry a baby healthily due to my size and I need to lose weight, he really didnt want to give me anything to bring af back, but I said I wanted something as it was making me that my body can be so cruel, all he was saying was well it happens and your period will come back on its own can be anything between 6-12wks!! I just said look im fed up of waiting as no one knows how long I have already waited, so he gave me a prescription for Utovlan 5mg tabs I have to take 1 three times a day for a week and then it should give me a withdrawal bleed. I dont know if these tablets are provera or simular? I just hope they work so I can get back to ttc again and hope we are 3rd time lucky xx

I am on POSTOVAL that gives me a 30day cycle as PROVERA doesn't work for me... but atleast tons of options.....

aww sorry to ear you gp is as bad as mine I take Utovlan ever month to bring my period on , it does work, though the week I take them for is a quite painful.

My Gp keeps harping on about me being to big to concieve etc etc. Honestly a load of cr*p! Bigger girls have kids all the time! xxx

They do say however that even loosing a little bit of weight can trigger your body to function, then again if you just have to rely on that would get me pretty frustrated too!

I wish theyd take those situations with a little bit more concern.. I am slightly uderweight but i didnt have any issues at all getting meds even though they could have said well try and gain some..

Anyhow, i guess this whole weight subject is a bit of an issue..
