We are breaking tradition this year and having a big paella!

I have no idea, because i dont know who is cooking or where we are going yet!!

Apparently my mum has just informed me that this yr is going to be a big turkey roast but she says that every year  so I doubt it will be but if it is I wont complain.. I would prefer beef though. Not a fan of turkey

Last year I cooked for 13  so we had a huge turkey and a beef joint with all the trimmings, prawn cocktail for starters and tiramisu and a cheesecake for dessert. We also had a trifle and xmas pud and a cheeseboard

This year I'm unsure if I want to cook for so many and im hoping to be pregnant by then but who knows.

Ooooo I cant wait now... Alll sounds soooo yummy!

we dont have xmas dinner, because we usually have to pick up my stepsons around 3pm, so no time to make one.

so I do a big buffet in the evening, and any guests we have... usually both sides of the families.

we have our xmas dinner on boxing day, which will prob be chicken.

I hate cooking it as I am a useless cook..lol.

christmas in our house is quite unique. x

We always have turkey. Usually with roast potatoes, swede, carrot, brussels sprouts and yorkshire puddings lol x

We're going to my mum's for Christmas day. She usually cooks a turkey, duck or beef and chicken just for me :)

Ooh this is my first Xmas cooking dinner, usually go to my parent or OH's parents. I intend on doing a turkey crown with all the trimmings, pigs in blankets, gravy, yorkshires and my mum is making me some of her special stuffing yummy!!! Then for dessert we will have Xmas pud and trifle.
I have never cooked homemade roasties before (im an aunt bessies girl lol) so I need to practice before the big day!!

Its Christmas @ my folks this year so we will have

Melon wrapped in parma ham
Soup
Turkey and/or ham with all the trimmings (roast potatoes, stuffing, pigs in blankets, brussels, parsnips, cranberry sauce, mashed turnip)
Choice of a couple of puddings (my auntie is a fab pudding cook!)
