I had my last scan 2 1/2 weeks ago and Beano looked like a kidney bean. The thing is me being impatient and unable to wait for 2 1/2 weeks longer for my next scan I was wondering if I had a scan at the beginning of next week would Beano look like a baby or still resemble a bean? Has anyone got any pics from 10/11 weeks?

I had a scan done at 11weeks and my LO looked like a frog lol.. it was cute and funny, we started calling her our lil froggy bean, still she looked beautiful

i think it will definatly be resembling a baby now...much more than last time these first few weeks they do the most growing!

I would think it look slike a baby, at 12 weeks I could see eyes, ears, fingers so they must be pretty much there the week before

I had a scan at 9 weeks where baby had a head and body which looked about the same size. Also little legs kicking out and a clear heart beat.

Then I had another at 10 weeks and a few days. This time he was a bit bigger but still the head and body were a similar size and curved round. This time you could make out his toes and fingers though I think.

I had my first scan at 13 weeks (the picture in my avatar).

Here is my LO at 11 weeks.

The top is the head, tummy and two little hands, The bottom is the legs and feets.

Thanks for your replies everyone. Seeing you pics and hearing about it I have now decided I am going to book another private scan for next week. It seems like such a long time since I last saw Beano and I am a born worrier so I think it'll put my mind at rest until my 12 week scan in 2 1/2 weeks. I'm so near the 12 week mark that I've been waiting for I'm terrified of anything going wrong so hopefully it'll calm me down .

Here you go, Ky at:

I think it's a good idea to book one - that's what we did as we were told that we couldn't have one til 16 weeks! There was no way I could wait for that! Got another tomorrow - get booking, you'll feel better when you see bump xx xx

Thanks and you're right I will definately book one for next week. My scan isn't until I'm 12+5 so I'm getting all impatient. I've got a doppler but it's like I'm on a power charge and I want more proof :muaha::blush: I'm driving DH mad so I think it's a better idea for me to go next week

pregnancy . org

The site above gives a good indication of what your baby may look like at each week interval.

Here in Canada, we get one scan at around 18-20 weeks and that is it, unless you have complications. My hubby said we should buy an ultrasound machine. LOL

 Don't joke about that. I looked on ebay to see if I could pick one up cheaply.......................... I'm not sure I've got a spare £37,000 lying around:blush:

LOL That's so cute :) Yes, they are quite expensive.

Wouldn't it be great to see your precious bundle at any time? With only one scan here in Canada, the anticipation becomes way too much.

At the same time, I think the doctors in Canada truly believe that too many scans are not at all good for the baby.
