I really don't know know much I have spent, lost count

but their christmas clothes came to over £200 alone lol
I voted 500+

About 500 on ashieee 200 on miley 500 on oh and 100 for family ekkk think I spent to much :( x

lol......I have spent around £200 total this year on 4 of us! (food will be another £130.00) we just havent got the money and we will not use credit cards for christmas. The best part of christmas last year was the meal to be honest and as long as the children have presents to open, they get money from my mum and presents from others so in the end they probably get around £150 worth of toys each.

I've spent about £1200 but that doesn't include food, just presents and mine and Tattie's trees (or my presents - DH deals with those separately)... it was all saved cash though - no credit - and I scrimp and save all year to be able to treat them all at xmas

I don't have much of an extended family so the bulk of that was spent on DH, my 3 kids, Kaylum and Tattie's OH (I hate my children's OH's to feel left out so they get treated too).

I was thinking that as VAT is going up considerably next year that this Christmas maybe the last chance to get everything we've both been hoping for (electrical items etc) -Sorry thick question, but does anyone know if baby toys are VAT'ed? :)

Yes they are Hon ... baby/children's clothes and shoes etc are exempt from VAT but toys, even educational ones, attract full rate tax :nope:

alfies had around £600, my stepson as aswell i spent £200 on just 3 presents for my stepson, oh as had most of his already new car loads wii cames

so erm too much to add up and now im skint

havent spent much this year. its probably between £150 - £200

had planned on spending alot more, but the snow has messed with my business and ive lost alot of money so presents are minimal, which sucks as ive hardly got anything for mick and feel really bad about it

over £1000 i got my laptop early and it was £400ish and on morgan we've spent around £250 then another £300 on tv and xbox games for OH then bits and pieces for everyone else but i started buying and saving in july after morgan's birthday and bought most of the stuff in sales like argos half price toy sale

I have no idea, all i ever know is what i spend roughly on my OH & our son...

This year if i think about it, it will be like this:

OH has had £350 on him
Our son has had £300 on him
Parents have had £50 each on them
Then about £150 on other people

So this year i have spent alot near the £800 mark plus what ever OH has spent on me so round the £1000 mark i would imagine not including food.

Its all paid with cash i never get into debt never spend on C/C's

about £900 this year, on a family of 5, and my parents/granny etc etc

We have spent £558 alltogether this year and our baby isnt evan here till may!! so god knows how expensive next year will be. We have had 13 people to buy for though not including ourselfs so all in i dont think its too bad but i wasnt expecting to spend that much.

i don't have an exact figures, but i've just done a few sums, and i reckon we've spent about £500 on family and friend, and then i'd imagine around a grand on maddi. then plus what ever james has brought me. we've been buying and saving from a while, so come december, we haven't actually noticed it tbh.

In the end, we will have spent $2200 CAD ($1395 British Pounds) on 5 kids. Actually, I haven't gone overboard this year and have gotten a few items for a good deal from Craigs List.

However, we still need to buy for MIL, my mom, nephew, BIL and a few employees and suppliers.
