if they are 'always' splitting then the chances are they are being put on inside out (yep there is a wrong way of doing it), or you're catching your nails on it when opening. Unfortunately (much to the disappointment of you girls LOL) dick size has nothing to do with splitting.

its true tho, but u need to know how to use it.. there are many instructions to learn about condoms we were taught that in high school. one thing i dont get is how can they make protection that vaseline can break:S.. and some that has lubricant on it breaks something dealing with the lubricant!

Totally agree. I've had one split once and I'm had plenty of rumpy pumpy.

I agree with stir, if condoms are always splitting, your putting them on wrong...
Also, are you buying them from a proper shop? I know this sounds weird but some people think its funny to sell condoms that they've "pricked" (for want of a better word lmao) so that they'd fail to do what they r supposed to do.
And the Pill?? I dont know..but they are not 100% on protecting you from pregnancy and they do say that on the leaflet. Id go with the implanon...better rating of not letting girls down and also, doesnt affect your fertility after its removed.

I've been using condoms for 5 years, only once did it split and that was because the guy was an idiot who obviously laughed his way through those condom + banana/wooden replica of a penis demonstrations instead of paying attention!

Wow! Sorry to be the spoiler here but condoms can do soo much other contraception cant! Like protect you from sexually transmitted diseases!
9 times out of 10 if you use them properly they will work fine!

I have to agree here. I work with teenagers and it's scary how many of them don't think about protecting themselves from STD's, and seem to think that it'll never happen to them. Recently within the service which I work in have seen a huge increase in the number of people aged 15-25 who have contracted STDs, ranging from herpes, to syphilis to HIV.
It's true that sometimes condoms will split, for a variety of reasons, but surely it's better to use one and attempt to protect yourself from STDs then not to bother at all?

no contraception is 100% -only abstinence!

Condoms usually only split if you've put them on wrong, like not held the tip so it doesn't get full of air, or used an oil based lube (or if you're wearing lipstick and the condom goes in your mouth!), or if you catch it with your nails etc etc

i did write a clear thread about whats safe and whats not to used with condoms but it got lost when site went down.
am starting to think i should do it again.

wrong wording in my previous post not all contraception works all of the time, but saying that condoms 'split all the time' is very wrong you are clearly not doing something right.

as for the pill there are many things that can stop the pill from working its not just about taking it everyday, having a bad tummy, being sick, and taking antibiotics can effect it working.
