We have a bit of a mish mash of stuff just now.. but when we finally move house I want it all traditional =)

I personally am a modern girl, I like the black xmas trees with hot pink and silver decorations, but when I was growing up it was all traditional gold, reds and greens and it was for OH too and that is what he prefers so we will more likely go for traditional when we go to buy our very first xmas decorations!!

A lot of classic, a little luxe 
. I like my red and green decorations, multicoloured metallic ball ornaments on the tree, candle holders shaped like snowmen, big red bows and those garlands that look like pine tree needles. Plenty of gold and sparkly stuff. And most important: cozy plush plaid throw blankets, white cable-knit pillow covers, and a big fluffy tree skirt! I like everything to look super-comfy, like a big Christmassy hug.
Oh yeah, and can't forget the Nativity scene with fake snow on the mantel! And twinkly lights! No garland though, not since two years ago when I had to clean sparkly silver cat poop out of the litter box
