When did everyone stop using hooded baby towels?

We stopped using the hooded baby towels when we got to the stage we were having to use two for emily and that was when she was about 8 months old. When did or when will you stop using them and start using 'adult' towels?

Good question! All my hooded baby towels are getting way to small for Edie now but I like her having her own towels!!

I didnt use ours for long once they started looking small.... I kept one for the memories and use the rest as hair towels (put the hood bit at the nape of your neck and twist )

Yeah, they're not very long. Already struggling to get them to cover over her feet.
May buy some normal towels but in pretty colours just for her

I have just stopped using them for bath time and using a normal towel (it was sooo dinky on her!) but I have just bought a toddler hooded towel from amazon for swimming because I like being able to cover her head after a swim...Its great and huge, soo cute! (kinda want one myself for after swimming...)

My LO is 8 months old and I'm still using them. They're pretty big though, I think we'll get at least a few more months of use out of them.

I'm still using mine but if they aren't clean then we use normal towels.. she isn't bothered by it

We have gingham hooded towels from pottery barn that are large and will last a few years yet. We do have smaller hooded towels that don't work so well anymore, if I use them then I use them along with another towel so it kind of defeats the purpose.

I've used both since he was born as well but I'm only using the ikea hooded one now as his other hooded towels have been too small since he was two months old.

Thomas still fits in his he also has a hooded poncho towel

We have 3 and they all still fit him.. Just one is starting to get a little small. The hooded ikea poncho one will fit him for a few years I'd say, its really big on him.

We still use hooded towels for DS. They don't wrap around him completely, but when he runs off after a bath they don't just fall on the floor they're not all that much too small for him, either.
