When did you first get Braxton Hicks?

Hi everyone,

I'm just over 30 weeks and was wondering when people first noticed Braxton Hicks? So far I haven't felt this at all - does it happen to everyone?
God I sound so naive!!

I noticed them from 14 weeks!

I didn't get them at all during my first pregnancy though.

I have only really started feeling them the past 2 weeks! I think I may have been having them a wee bit earlier but I didnt know what they were! But now I know I am definitely having them! xxx

Hey!! I'm 27 weeks and I haven't gotten them either. I had one back about 12 weeks but then I haven't had another since. Dr said some women get them, some don't... so I kind of feel lucky- i think the contracting would kinda weird me out or annoy me. haha.

Ive a few since roughly the half way mark, sometimes I get weird tightenings and im not entirlely sure if they are braxton hicks coz its feel like baby turning

I got it pretty soon on in the second tri. Now I get it at least a few times every hour and sometimes at night every 10 minutes - it's not really painful but it does twinge a bit sometimes and I lose my breath every time I have one!

On the other friend, I have a friend who never really got it at all, the whole time she was pregnant. So I think it's nothing to worry abt, whether you get it or not.

I first noticed them about 20 weeks although I don't get loads. I didn't get any at all when I was having my daughter.

didnt "feel them" with eldest at all. with lil man the 1st i knew of them was when MW said your getting BH every so many mins - turns out were main contractions and he arrived 4hrs later.

and i have felt the odd 1 or 2 but according to hospital they are 8mins apart BUT not strong enough to be proper yet.

i didnt have any in first pregnancy....nor this one...but when i was on the monitor the MW said i was having them....yet i couldnt feel a thing!!!

I had 2 painful ones around 25weeks+ and not noticed them again until the last 2weeks where im getting them around 10times a day quite intense. some people dont feel them at all

I first noticed them at roughly 24 weeks. I had a couple around that time that took me by surprise and didn't have any again (that i felt anyway) until a couple of days ago.

i was admitted over night in hospital at 25 weeks with them, i had never experienced them before and mine got gradually worse over a period of an hour or so. i haven't had any since though x
