When did you nurse in public?

I was really nervous and planned my day around his feeds, but now I think to myself if he needs feeding, I'll feed him. Just remember its natrual if anything they'll feel like a bit embarrassed, so dont be!

What I do is where a small vest top under my normal clothes so if I need to pull my top up or down I'm totally covered. You're babies head will cover you & hardly anything will be on show. good luck you'll be fine, think of your LO x

I started nursing in public pretty much straight away as I hated being confined and hated feeling like a pariah banished to somewhere discrete to feed my baby. I think I found it easier because I found it much less embarrassing to get my boob out than to try and placate a starving, screaming baby I did purchase a cover full of good intentions to use it but I found it so irritating and such a faff to use that I never bothered. And like others have said, I think they are more noticeable and draw attraction than anything.
