I know I shouldn't be, but I've been anxious over having no symptoms other than cramping this trimester. All I can think is, maybe if I could feel movement I wouldn't worry as much? I'm looking forward to it, at least! I'm only 14 weeks with my first at the moment, and I just wanted to check in with all of you; when did you first start feeling movement?

Thanks!

With my first it was 19.5 weeks. With this one it was 16. :)

Hey don't worry if this is your first child. You can expect to feel something around 2 more weeks at 16 or 17 weeks. I'm 22/23 weeks pregnant with my first (a boy) and I felt my first movement on and off from 11 weeks. That is unusual but at that point it did not feel like flutters. And I'm sure it wasn't gas or muscle spasm. It felt something more like light tapping or soft scratching (unsure how to explain). I could go a week without feeling anything and when I go to have an ultrasound he's moving like crazy. So don't worry right now if your not feeling movement.

I didn't start feeling flutters till I was about 16/17 weeks. And even then it was not as frequent. Ever since I hit 20 weeks I feel him all the time and soon started feeling and seeing movement from the outside. And it's a great feeling :) hope you experience it soon and see for yourself. :)

Btw if your worried just go have an ultrasound. I get one every 3-4 weeks. Now if I want to check on him I just nudge my belly and he responds lol.

I felt my baby at 17 weeks. Felt like flutters and was the most amazing feeling.

Don't worry too much. It can depend on where the placenta is growing too. And how in tune you are with your body. You probably do feel it and just don't realize it.

First child about 21 weeks with an anterior placenta.

Second about 15-16 weeks, posterior placenta.

Don't worry chick :)

From 18 weeks I've been feeling strong movements and have posterior placenta this time!
My first wasn't till 24+ weeks with anterior placenta x

First about 21 weeks

This one, 17 weeks (tiny movements) and I have an anterior placenta. Movements are still very random for me now. I can go ages without feeling anything.

I'm 22 weeks on my 3rd I honestly can't remember with the first 2 when I felt strong movement but this one seems much much quieter. Only really when I'm going to bed I feel some movement some nights a good bit but others hardly anything, I've had 3 scans 1 only last week and everything is perfect so maybe just a quieter baby !?!

My two boys kicked the living day lights out of me!!

About 20 weeks with first, 16 with second, 22 with third and 19 with fourth.x

16-17 weeks, my first baby. From what I've seen can be up to 22 weeks, so don't worry. I also didn't realise I was feeling baby moving for a couple of weeks 😓

about 22weeks with the first one....still waiting on this one!

I was just under 20 weeks with my 1st, then 16 weeks with 2nd.

I'm 20 weeks with #3 tomorrow and have felt two very slight movements over the last 3 days and that's it. I have my scan tomorrow so hoping that will give me some reassurance until the movements become stronger and more regular.

I love seeing tickers of people who have children the same ages as mine!! My first son was nov 2012 and my second was Jan 2014. And this one is due June 2016 :)

Around the time of my 20wk scan (first baby, anterior placenta)

Oh my goodness, thank you ladies so much. :flower: This first baby thing is a bit stressful, haha, it's so nice to have a supportive community!

I'm pregnant with my first, and I haven't felt anything yet. Anterior placenta. This thread is making me feel better too!

I had an anterior with my first too. I went days sometimes without feeling him till well into weeks 30-32. I had to get a Doppler to check on him daily.

Quite early with my other two. With this one I felt movements at 12-13 weeks then practically nothing definite until 18 weeks ish. Now I feel her loads.
