When did you stop formula?

Hi all! My son just turned 1 and am just wondering when I should stop the formula. He currently has 1 1/2 cans left of formula, and I am thinking of just letting him finish them off. Then I am not sure what I should do. That's why I am wonderin how/when everyone else has transitioned their baby off formula?

With my daughter her last tin was done at 11.5 months so we done half-and-half with cows milk for a couple days and then she was switched over by time she was age 1 and fully on cows milk.

My son was breastfed til 11 months then I stopped and he took cows milk straight away from 11 months

Mines still on Formula. He has toddler 1yr+. He wasn't keen on Cows Milk at all. Plus Sainsburys Local had tins of Aptimal 1yr+ reduced to £2.64! I bought the entire shelf

My older son stayed on formula until 15 months. We slowly transitioned him to milk. My younger son just turned one and we have about 4 cans left so we'll definitely be using them. After that I am not sure.

theres no rush, some babies actually act bad to cows milk till even after 2 years, so just take ur time to switch over, do it slow.

My 2 older DD's went straight onto cows milk at 12 months - they were absolutley fine on it.

I plan on doing the same with my twins when they are 12 months. x

6 months for my LO she took to it straight away and as she was eating a balanced diet I had no worries about the low iron high salt content of it.

i had my son on formula till he hit 2. I used stage 3 cow and gate till 1 and a half then cow and gate growing up milk till he hit 2, but that was under medical orders x

6 months.

The fat/sugar/calorie content is about the same give or take a gram here and there.

2 wks before 6m, it was mixed half and half, 1wk before, was 3/4 milk, 1/4 formula.Never had a problem.

He was already eating everything we were at 6m as well.

11 months with DS1 and he went onto cows milk after that.

23 months when we weaned him off the bottle, he was on toddlers formula from 14 months, he used to drink cow milk during the day & toddlers milk at bedtime. He wasn't eating well during that period so he needed the extra vits from formula

14 months as her stomach couldn't handle it at 12 months x
