when did your LO's start STTN?

2.5 years old. I'm hoping #2 STTN a lot sooner than his brother.

He was sleeping well until 4 month sleep regression. We got through that and from about 6 months he was sleeping through. A few blips with illness or teething but he's sttn now.

Louis started STTN at around 15 months on a regular basis. Alex has been STTN for a few weeks now (since around 3 months) but I'm sure this will change now I've said this... They're honestly such different babies regarding sleep but am waiting for this massive 4 month regression to kick in, I never noticed it with Louis as his whole sleep was a regression for such a long time :haha:

6 weeks (started doing around 8/9 hours straight). Has consistently done so since. Now does around 12 hours.

I know we are very, very lucky. I'm scared to have a second in case I get the complete opposite!

Not happened here... He still wakes 3 times a night (that's a good night), last week it was every hour  I'm running on empty (and cake!)

This is yet to happen.

When it does though... It will be glorious!:wohoo:

Mmm cake haha I'll try that with my coffee I think.

Every hour is rough :hugs: I dread going to bed these days, I sometimes wonder if it would be easier just to stay up for the next few months to avoid the trauma of being woken up all the time!

I am so jealous! Wanna swap?:winkwink: hehe

Pretty much straight away here...when he was newborn I used to wake him every 3 hours for a bottle!! I forgot to wake up one night and woke at 6am to a sleeping baby!!
After that I stopped feeding him unless he woke for a bottle.
The only sleep regression we had was a week or 2 of him waking at 5am instead of 7/8am...teething only affected his sleep when he'd get bunged up, but even then he'd just be shuffly and not actually wake :)
When he was born, I didn't actually know how much newborns woke at night, I had the mindset that he'll wake every hour and if it was longer between wake ups then it was a bonus :)

My first was 8 weeks and still sleeps pretty consistently, she is 26 months..
My second, only started @ 13 months and still wakes up once a night (just to be laid down, no feeding or anything) about 4 nights out of 7...

10 weeks, then at 4/5 months stopped lol! I got him sleeping through at 8 months using CIO...

At a guess she started sleeping 6 hours+ from about 6 weeks old, longest stretch being 9 hours. Then it all went to pot at about 3ish months old when she started waking every 2 hours. To be honest I can't handle trying to function on such little and broken sleep anymore so as a last resort, we're now doing CC to try and improve things.

This made me laugh...

OK apparently I don't know how to post a picture lol, you'll just have trust me, it was funny ;)

I'm still waiting for more than a 5-6 hour stretch, which I believe is technically considered STTN? But I have to wonder who made up that "rule".... a 1:00 am wake up regardless if the baby has been asleep for 5 hours is not through the night!!!

I believe 100% that all babies will STTN in their own time when THEY are ready. Although it's hard work waking up god knows how many times a night, I'm confident that this will pass. It seems like a long time but it's a drop in the ocean really. Bad sleep sucks but we'll get through it!

mine is 7 months and still not sttn waiting another month-ish to do CC.

She goes to bed and naps perfectly fine no crying just have to lay her down in her crib
