When do I turn my ticker off and give myself a badge?

Violet doesn't nurse a whole lot anymore and I am pregnant, so there's no milk left anyway. Last night when she wanted to nurse, I said there was no milk and she said she was going to pretend to drink milk. So she sucked for a bit. So, she's still "nursing" a little, on occasion, but not for long because there's nothing there... I also was gone for 3 days and when I returned, she just needed some cuddles. Some toddlers also stop at this point but resume once the baby is born. I guess if she's still asking to nurse and still latching on on occasion (even if it's a terrible latch every time), she's still "nursing?"

Haha! I was confused when we did it, too, but I always had badges and didn't do a ticker. I stopped updating my badge when he stopped being interested ( I think I also just let my signature be blank for a while because I didn't want to think about it) and then updated it again when it became clear he was going to continue after I gave birth.
Edit: the way I decided to look at it was they're still breastfeeding until they decide to never nurse (dry or otherwise) at the breast again. I don't say my 2mo old isn't nursing anymore when he goes many hours between feeds, so I won't say my 2yo isn't nursing when he goes days between feeds. Just different frequencies for different ages, but both still breastfeeding.

I never had a ticker, just had a new badge every month :)

I never had a ticker for BFing, either. And I stopped updating my blinkie for my eldest when it became clear we were done. We'd had times where he was feeding once every few days, but once he hadn't fed in over a month, I was pretty confident he was done :)

I had a badge/blinkie before, but didn't like having to think about updating it, so I went with the ticker. I guess I'll just leave it for now.
