It says 37 wks but I noticed in my baby book it says end of 37th week which would be not til nearly 38 wks?????

Im on my fourth baby hun and ive always been told that 37 weeks is classed as full term xx

End of the 37th week would be the same as 37 weeks, I think, because the 1st week, for instance, is from day 0 to day 7, and on day 7 you'd be 1 week. So from 36+1 to 37 is the 37th week, so the end of that is 37 weeks pregnant. It's like 1998 was at the end of the 20th century. So both are right!

My MW says 37 weeks. My book says 38 weeks. I believe my MW!

i always wondered that fact, so i am right in saying that 37 weeks is full term and any extra time that they have added on is is just extra growing time?

The end of the 37th week of pregnancy is 37 +0 on a ticker or 37 weeks completed . The 1st week is day 0 to day 6. It gets confusing. That is why in many baby books you look at week 35 when you are 34 weeks. Full term is 37 completed weeks (37 +0).

it confuses me lol...but i think when your 37 weeks gone xxx
