When is everyone finding out the gender

I have 12 days left until we find out. This might be the longest 12 days of my life.

Though v've decided to have it a surprise and are excited about it.. But it seems that each day passing is like ages passed... i duuno how i would survive for the further weeks with this anxiety..

To the girls that are not finding out until birth, how are you doing it?

I would love for it to be a surprise. I hate the fact of not knowing. Plus everyone wants to know what the baby is. I think it would be a lot easier for it to be a surprise, if the girls didn't want to know if they were having another sister or brother.

I just think too many people find out just because you can so easily....years ago it wasnt so easy and people had to wait...Its very tempting to find out but i so many find out and name it before its arrived, so that doesn't leave you teo tell people much when baby has arrived....only how much it weighed lol.
As for my other children wanting to know....ive never mentioned to them that i could find so they have no idea that you could know before baby is born hahaha

we are looking to be surprised its really the only surprise in life left
were not having any scans
i have two teenagers that are desperate to know what sex it is but
i told them i did not have a scan with them and i wont with this lo
i agree with the other member re telling people that the baby has arrived
most people know the sex and have named it what is left to tell
we dont know the exact date of arrivial as no scan which is fine by me
it will arrive when its good and ready

We find out 2nd of May, we are only going to tell our parents, and keep it a surpise for everyone eles, we arnt giving the baby a name till its born either as i hate it when people refer to it by its name before its even born !

mine's the 6th May.

I would genuinely love it to be a surprise but I know I won't rest knowing the sonographer knows what it is and I don't!! We have a list of names but won't choose until he/she is born. My sister named all hers then changed them when they were born!!! I might try and keep it secret from the rest of the family but they're just as impatient as me and I know they will get it out of me

That is very understandable. I made the mistake last year and took my girls with me when we had our gender scan. So they are expecting it this time around. Also with this pregnancy, it started out as twins and I lost one at 11 weeks 5 days. I was asked before we lost it if we would find out the gender so my family back home could throw me a baby shower. Since we already planned a private scan, we thought we would just continue to have it done.
