I know pregnant women get a lot of discharge, but I've been seeing a lot of mucus plug/amniotic fluid questions, and it good me slightly worried.
I have a LOT of discharge. From the beginning. It is creamy white, on my panty liner it comes off as a pale yellow, very similar to what I used to have in the TWW.
The smell is the same, I'm not itchy, I've had yeast infections before and this is not it.
When should I be worried if it's too much discharge, or if it isn't that and something to be more worried about?

I think there's so many questions because our mucus isn't something that you normally hear about when you're listening to pregnancy stories. No one talks about the "gross" stuff. :haha:

As for me, I have had a TON of it. Like, I can't even describe how much there is sometimes. You should only worry if it's bloody (although that can happen sometimes too, and it's fine) or if you're having cramping or pain with it. If it's bloody or you have any kind of pains, call your doctor to be sure. Always better safe than sorry.

But as for day by day... sometimes I'm completely dry, and other days I can't believe how much there is. I wouldn't be concerned about it in general. You've had yeast infections before, so you know how that feels and can deal with it if you get one.

I hope this reassures you! :flower:

All of that is fine! You should only be worried if it is water (either a gush or constant trickle) which could be fluid leaking and should be tested.

You can ask your OB/MW when to be worried about bloody mucus; it could mean that your cervix is changing but also might mean nothing - the mucus plug can regenerate.

Thank God I haven't had bloody CM.
This is something you don't really hear or talk about, and it's good to have a place like this where we can all be gross and ask these sorts of questions! (and get answers!)

I'm using pant liners too, and mine seems to dry a pale yellow colour also.. MW said it was fine, if you have to change pantliner in the day, then I should go back in, but its not that bad :)
