When should I POAS after clomid?

I took clomid for the first time this cycle and had a hcg jab on 23rd Feb. I was told to test on 15th March but I just can't wait. I want to be put out of my misery ...to see if it has worked or not? I know its only two weeks but its a loooooong time! I was just wondering if I did POAS between now and then could I get a false positive or negative even? Has anyone ever tried doing this?

You will ovulate 36 hours after the shot which will have been the 25th feb. So that means your are due on on 11th MArch (14 days after ovulation). If you get an early pregnancy test then you can test as early as 7th but a BFN that early won't nbecessarily mean you aren't pregnant. I think you are almost exactly the same point in the cycle as me. I will be POAS on Thurs which is 4th March. I have done this for the last 2 cycles and it has stopped me getting my hopes up and made me feel a bit more sane! Good luck and I'll watch your story...

I think I may just go insane. This is my worst TWW! I want clomid to work...because then I just feel it wont work for the other cycles! Then I think its ok if clomid doesnt work cos its only my first cycle....I just dont know what to think. I think I better find something to keep me busy....

Just test when you want to, but keep in mind a negative result could be inacurate. I start testing about 5-7 DPO. Let the obsessing begin!!!

Everyone is different, but I got my Hcg shot on CD16 and they said any positive before CD31 could potentially be a false positive and that I shouldn't test until at least CD31. I hate waiting, but I'd rather wait than think I am pregnant and it just be Hcg residual from the shot.
