When to begin testing

Hi I'm new to this forum and using ovulation tests. I'm sure this question has been asked many times, but my question is when should I begin testing to see if I'm ovulating? Should I start testing 5 days from the last day of my cycle or when? Any help will be much appreciated.

How long are your cycles usually? Mine are 30-35 days and I started testing around CD10.

around cd9-11 I Would say if your cycle is 20 odd days
