when to start taking opk's

Hello. I asked this in the trying to concieve section but got no help so ill ask here. I am on my second month of TTC. All my cycles are generally 28 days. my last one was 30 days. I am currently on day 9 or my cycle but im not sure how long of a cycle it will be this month. when should i start using my opk's? thanks for any help.

I'm a bit over the top in buying the ic ones off ebay in bulk so I start testing as soon as AF has finished lol so I don't miss my surge xxxx

but on the instructions it says to start testing from cycle day 11 xxx

lol thanks. yeah i just bought some bulk off ebay yesterday. thankfully they are localand i can pick them up today. Just another question. whens the best time of day to test? should i twice a day?

In the afternoon hunny, but when it gets closer to ovulation I'm over the top again and test in the morning SMU afternoon and night before 10pm as my surge is very short and sweet lol. Mine only last a few hours and I've been known to miss it xxxx
