When to switch to kids shampoo/body wash?

I still use baby shampoo because he suddenly started hating baths (again). He fights the whole time, so he ends up with it in his eyes. I use my conditioner on him though, it's very gentle, vegan, cruelty free and natural. I also made him a leave-in, about 2 parts water 1 part conditioner with a dash of curl gel that we spray on his hair on non-wash days, freshens it up and detangles. Makes gorgeous curls.
