when to tell the doctor?

hi all.

Ive just found out Im PG with No2 (woop!) but I cant remember what to do about telling the GP. Should I tell them now? or wait a few weeks? when would i normally first see/speak to a midwife?

I had my GP appointment yesterday. I have shared care between my GP's surgery and local maternity hospital so I tell her first then she writes to the hospital who then sort my scan. I made the appointment as soon as I got a pregnancy test and still had to wait +3 weeks to be seen! I think other ladies on here go straight to their midwife, so it seems it can differ by location.

I rang up the next day and just got sorted so they would sort my booking appointment x

i rang up at 4+1, the docs put me through to the midwives who arranged my booking in for tomorrow, 7+5.

no early betas, nothing :/

Where i am you dont have to tell the dr anymore, you just ring for midwife book in at 10 weeks xx

congratulations on number 2. I usually go for my booking in appointment with midwife at around 9/10 weeks x
