When to try after MMC

My husband and I experianced our first loss last week. I used medical help to finish the pregnancy. My levels were 3000 on Thursday and 154 yesterday. I go back in another week for one last test to see if the levels are done.

When do I try? They really haven't given me much information other than try when we are ready.

hello and im really sorry for your loss. I can speak from experience its best to wait at least one cycle in between. My RE says that one cycle just so your lining can be ready to hold the egg.

I was told one cycle as well. Some DR's push for more for emotional stability but for me I wanted back in the saddle right away.

Thanks. I feel weird about admitting I'm ready. I miss being pregnant and am so ready to try again. I want to be pregnant when the due date comes around. My husband is supportive and says he will be ready when I am. This will be the longest cycle of my life.

Hang in there Crowbaby! I am in a holding pattern this cycle too, waiting for my folic acid levels to return to normal and tissue to clear from tube It is long but at least we have a place to obsess over it!

The doctors tell you to wait at least one cycle for dating purposes, however ultrasound can tell you just as much so I would say you could start trying whenever you want. Some ladies are able to get pregnant right away while others take a while for their bodies to get back to normal. I'm currently on my fourth cycle of trying after having a natural mc in July and haven't became pregnant yet. I don't think I've been ovulating. On the other hand I had two D&Cs (medically managed) before my natural mc and was able to get pregnant on the first try both times. I'm not saying this to upset you but to let you know in case it doesn't happen right away. I wish you all the luck in the world and hope you get a sticky bean next time! Losses are so dreadful...
